The investment

Most financial consultants will tell you that the key to success in investment is to put your money into something that you are interested in and care about, like your own home?
But what sort of difference could it make to its value? David Gage, founder of Central London Lofts, has some examples.

“We worked on a conversion in Clapham last year." he said, "We added two rooms and a bathroom at a cost of £40,000 but the house went up in value by £150,000.

“Just by adding one room or a bathroom people are making up to £50,000 more. But we will always tell customers to check with estate agents to check with estate agents to make sure their investment will pay off.

“Besides bottom-line considerations, there's also the whole upheaval of taking your kids' out of schools they've settled in; maybe a longer and pricier journey to work and the wrench of moving away from your community.”

But how can you be sure that nothing will go wrong? Well, David Gage, has more than 20 years' experience in the construction industry and is a qualified surveyor. He started Central London Lofts two years ago and since then has seen the enterprise grow to have a capacity to complete 100 projects a year.

All work undertaken by CLL is fully guaranteed and underwritten, with the firm carrying £10,000,000 employers' liability and £5,000,000 public liability insurance.

A dedicated site manager will oversee the project from start to completion and will make sure you are fully satisfied with everything as the work progresses. At the moment there are eight teams working throughout London, each of which is totally dedicated to the job in hand. So, although we are big, you can expect to get to know your own friendly team who will care as much as you about doing a good job.
