Party walls

Any work concerning the party walls, should be informed to your neighbours. The wall dividing your houses is jointly owned by both of you and it is important that you keep them updated about what is going on in your property, and ensure you are not trespassing on theirs and damaging.
As per the Party wall etc act of 1996, it is required that being the owner of the house and also the person responsible for the loft conversion, it is your duty to inform the neighbours about the process of loft conversion, you are planning to do. Though they cannot oppose in the process of loft conversion, they can still influence when and how the process should be carried on.
We can handle this process without any hassle. We have licensed surveyors who can survey the premises and educate us the conditions under which the loft conversion should be done. All that you have to do is to hand over the party wall notice and an ‘acknowledgement form’ to them and get it signed too!

Drawing plans

We have a team of professional architects who can draw the exact plans for your loft conversion. This is often, the important thing for loft conversion. We believe in providing you the best service and hence we make sure the plans are drawn as per the exact specifications of your loft. Of course, we are also happy to work with your own architect. After all, it would make your loft conversion the best.

Re-roofing and roof domes

We handle re-roofing of your house, at the same time when we handle the loft conversion. This is a cost effective option, because on most of the cases, a great part of the roof will be removed during loft conversion and this will not affect our plans!
You need not worry about the gloomy staircases and dark recesses that will be the result of adding extra rooms in your loft. We have the option of fixing roof domes because they are the best option for letting daylight throughout. You can choose from the wide range of designs and styles and some of the roof domes can be easily controlled by a remote control!

Doors and shower rooms

In many cases, you will find the new room on the loft quite exciting and wonderful, when the right kind of doors and windows are fixed. Imagine spending a peaceful Sunday morning, or a spring evening, on the balcony, looking at the beautiful landscape that lies beneath you! In many cases, you can even have a chance of setting up a roof garden.
If you are planning to have a shower room on your loft, then make sure you get the best tiler for fixing the tiles. Our experienced craftsmen handle this with expertise so that you will be left awestruck on seeing the result.

Interiors and Refurbishment

Once the loft conversion is over, we can carry out other projects at your home, at your request. We can provide a separate quote for this too. We handle basement conversion, plumbing, decoration, walls removed, and other such home improvement projects.

Ridges and ceilings

If you have got an opinion from a less experienced loft conversion company, that your loft is not fit for loft conversion, we would like to welcome the enquiry still. In some places, the local council may provide permission for raising the ceilings and thus making loft conversion possible there. However, we can finalise this only upon an expert opinion with the council and how this should be approached properly.
If this is not possible then we can lower the existing internal ceiling for using the existing space.

Heaters and boilers

In many homes, there will be a good heating system working fine. We can extend this to the newly converted loft, with some upgrading done.
If you want to change the existing heating system with a new one, we can help you with that. Our plumber can give you some good suggestions about what should be done, along with the costs.
